Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa International Airport offers direct daily budget flights to many major North American cities due to Ixtapa's rapid growth as a tourist destination. Zihuatanejo is much smaller and much quieter, but very conveniently shares the same airport and the same connections within a 15-minute drive.
